American Landscape Photographer Landry Lockett shares the beauty and wonder of the Texas High Plains and beyond through his photos.

Landry grew up in Lubbock, Texas and attended Texas Tech University, where he completed both his undergraduate and master's degrees in ornamental horticulture. He went on to work as an arborist for Davey Tree Expert Company in Austin prior to getting married and spending 10 years working for Texas Extension. It was during this time that Landry earned his doctorate degree in Agricultural Education from Texas A&M University. Lockett taught leadership courses in A&M's College of Agriculture and Life Science's Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications (ALEC) on campus for seven years. In 2014, Landry and his family moved to Amarillo, where his wife, Piper, now serves as the Physician Assistant to the man who was the best man in their wedding, Dr. Bleu Schniederjan. Landry now teaches leadership courses in West Texas A&M University's Department of Agricultural Sciences and online for Texas A&M University's ALEC Department. The move to Amarillo has afforded Landry the flexibility and opportunity to also pursue deep-seated passions in art, creativity, the outdoors, and adventure. The results are the images found within this website and shared with you.

Landry and Piper have three children: Paxton, Ellison, and London. The Locketts reside in Amarillo. Landry is available for commissioned work. Contact Landry by email at [email protected].
